Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2026
1. Who we are
Notyfi is an iOS expense tracking app developed and operated by Dotsokay ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
2. What information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We use this to identify your account and sync your data across devices.
Expense entries. The journal entries you write in Notyfi, including any extracted amounts, categories, merchants, and dates, are stored and synced to our servers so your data is available across reinstalls and devices.
App settings and preferences. Your budget plan, tracked categories, reminder settings, currency preference, and other in-app preferences are stored as part of your account.
Device and usage data. We may collect basic device identifiers and anonymous usage data (such as crash reports) to improve app stability and performance. This data is not linked to your identity.
Push notification token. If you enable daily reminders, we store a device push token to deliver notifications to your device.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Notyfi app and its features
- To sync your data securely across your devices
- To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
- To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription status
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your expense entries for advertising.
4. Third-party services
Notyfi uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — secure cloud database for storing and syncing your account data and expense entries. Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Google Sign-In — used for authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies to that sign-in process. Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and subscription status. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — used to deliver push notification reminders to your device. Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Apple Speech Recognition — if you use the voice dictation feature, audio is processed by Apple's speech recognition framework on-device or via Apple's servers per Apple's privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), your data is permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
6. Data security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We use Supabase's security infrastructure, which includes row-level security and encrypted storage. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Children's privacy
Notyfi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
You can access, update, or delete your account at any time from within the app. To request a copy of your data or raise a privacy concern, contact us at [email protected].
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Notyfi after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
