Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Notyfi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and Dotsokay ("we", "us", or "our"), the company that operates Notyfi.

2. Use of the app

Notyfi is a personal finance journaling app for iOS. You may use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair our services
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our infrastructure

3. Account

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Notyfi. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Notyfi may offer optional paid features or subscriptions ("Notyfi Pro"). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the journal entries and data you create in Notyfi. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, sync, and process your content solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for advertising.

6. Accuracy of financial information

Notyfi uses AI to parse and categorise your entries. While we strive for accuracy, the App may make errors in parsing amounts, categories, or merchants. Notyfi is a personal tracking tool and is not a substitute for professional financial advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information displayed in the App.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Notyfi available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms — when we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dotsokay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
